Mohammad Latif was born in Kabul, The beautiful capital of Afghanistan, in a family of artists who have worked and achieved in a number of visual arts. His natural talent and passion in arts made him an artist with brilliant skills in drawing, painting, sculpture and calligraphy. To capture the beauties of the creation, he has been committed in producing of the elegance arts using pencil, watercolor, charcoal, wood burning, calligraphy, and photography. His natural talent gives its more shines in Calligraphy. He has worked Arabic and Dari Calligraphy in different styles like Nastaleeq, Naskh, Sulus, Kufe, Dewani. His most favorite style in calligraphy is Suluse Shaklee. As his experimental invention he has created a particular technique visualizing the wisely words of Holy Quran's in shapes of the nature’s substance and objects in a mixture of drawing, painting and calligraphy which he calls it (interpretive calligraphy). He says “In fact this was Almighty Allah's gift through one of my dreams; my all abilities are the wonderful gift of Almighty Allah (swt) the only and true creator of all”.
At age of 16th his fast growing talent and abilities allowed him to start teaching drawing and calligraphy classes in Maimanagi Fine Arts center in Peshawar Pakistan, and as an active member of the management of that organization he played an important role in developing of the center by organizing its administrative system, arranging of the exhibitions, publishing and marketing. Latif also as the assistant editor contributed his best deeds in the publishing of the news letter of Maimanagi fine arts center named Art and culture. Thank you for visiting
